Appointments
Full service grooms are by appointment only. Appointment times are given 7-10 days before the appointment date, these times are an approximate arrival window. Please allow 2 hours before and after your appointment time for Luxury Pawz to arrive. Working with animals is unpredictable by nature, some pets require a little more time and TLC in order to have a positive grooming experience. Luxury Pawz will communicate any potential delays that may affect your appointment time.
Luxury Pawz requires that you stay on a schedule. All clients are placed on a 4,6- or 8-week schedule. This is to better maintain your pets' healthy skin and coat. If you do not wish to stay on a schedule you may risk Luxury Pawz being booked or increased prices.

Payment
Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless you are paying by invoice. If you are paying through invoice please make the payment by the end of the day to avoid a $15 fee the following morning. Luxury Pawz accepts cash, card or check. If you are paying with cash please make sure you have the correct amount at the time of service as we do not carry cash for safety reasons.

Cancellations
Luxury Pawz is grateful to be booked and busy with your grooming needs! However, if you need to cancel your appointment, please notify Luxury Pawz 48 hours in advance. Cancellations less than 48 hours from your appointment will result a $120 cancellation fee. If a cancellation is made, your next groom would be your prescheduled 4,6- or 8-week appointment as we are not able to give room for flexibility. Please call or text (614) 887-9104 to cancel an appointment.
After 2 consecutive cancellations or 3 cancellations within the year, your pet will be removed from the schedule. If you want to continue to be on the schedule you will be required to pay for the groom in full a week before your appointment.
In the unlikely event that Luxury Pawz needs to cancel an appointment due to equipment failure, personal emergency, or inclement weather your reschedule date will be top priority.

Vaccinations
Ohio law requires all pets 4 months plus in age to be up to date on their rabies vaccine. Proof of rabies vaccinations are required to be on file. All other vaccines are strongly recommended to keep your pet safe and healthy. Luxury Pawz is not liable for any illness resulting from lack of vaccinations.
We ask that you reschedule your pet's appointment if you notice signs of illness (coughing, lethargy, diarrhea) prior to your appointment.
All pets with any signs of fleas or ticks will be bathed in a flea and tick shampoo. An additional $25 fee will be added to the grooming price/ Flea and tick shampoos are effective for getting rid of any adult fleas/ticks and soothing skin irritation but do not work as a preventive. To address the issue your pet, home and yard will need to be treated.

Social Media/ Photography/ Videography
Luxury Pawz takes photos and videos for use in advertisements and social media posts. If you prefer your pet not be posted on social media please let us know.
Satisfaction
We strive to understand your needs and expectations. If you feel your pet's groom needs to be adjusted, please do not hesitate to contact us within the first 24 hours after the groom so that we can adjust the style. Any touch-ups after that time period may require full payment of services due to the condition of the coat changing from daily wear, making it difficult to re-style without re-bathing.
Luxury Pawz is unable to offer refunds for services rendered but can adjust the notes for the next groom.

Matted Pets
Pets with severely matted coats require extra attention. Luxury Pawz will not cause serious or undue stress to pets by de-matting. Mats can be difficult and painful to remove. The only way we will remove matting is by shaving, this is the safest method. Please note you may experience an increased grooming total as mats take extra care and time to remove safely.
To prevent matting, brush and comb your pet(s) from head to toe daily. Always brush first then follow up with a comb, as a brush will only penetrate the surface hair as the comb will get down to the skin. If needed, we can choose a more frequent grooming schedule.
