How does your grooming process work?
I am bringing the pet spa to you! Everything I need to take care of your pet is inside the grooming van. Once I arrive, I will come to the door to get your pet. Then I will take them into the van, get them all cleaned up. The routine for grooming stays the same unless change is needed. Grooming Steps: !. Nails trimmed and filled, ears cleaned 2. Bath & teeth brushed (blueberry facial, shampoo and conditioner) 3. Blow dry 4. Pawpads and sanitary shave (if nessisary) 5. Brush 6. Body cut, face trim, ear trim, body outline trim, and tail trim( if nessisary) 7. Bow or bandana and pet cologne 8. Photoshoot After this process your pet is returned home How long does it take? Typically 1-2 hours. What age should I start grooming my puppy? The sooner the better, 2 months old is the best time. Starting young helps your pup get accustomed to the grooming process. Why is a mobile grooming more expensive than a grooming salon? Mobile grooming is a luxury service. Your pet is getting 1:1 love and attention unlike a traditional salon where they groom multiple dogs at a time. My services are faster yet relaxed. I only groom a certain number of pets per day to make sure we are not rushed and can achieve the best results. You are also paying for the convenience of me coming to you. Does my pet need to be current on vaccinations? It is required by law that your pet has a rabies vaccination. I will need proof of a current rabies vaccine. I do not require any other vaccines, but I do recommend that you keep them current as well. Do you groom cats? Yes! I offer cat baths with a nail trim. I can also shave their paw pads and sanitary area. I do not offer full cat haircuts. Do I need to be home? I ask that you are home for your first grooming session. This is a good time for us to meet and for me to learn how you like your pet to look. After that we can set up latch-key service. How does the Latch-Key service work? So many clients love this option! All you have to do is allow me access to your home via code or key and disable any alarms. Your key will be kept in a secure location and will not be labeled with your name or address. I just ask that your pet is kept in a closed off easy access area prior to my arrival. |
What are the benefits of home grooming?
*One on one attention *No kennels, barking dogs or ringing phones *Timely and less stressful *No more messy car rides Do I have to stay on a schedule? I recommend that you stay on a schedule. I place all clients on a 4,6- or 8-week schedule. This is to better maintain your pet's health and appearance. If you do not wish to stay on a schedule you may risk me being booked or increased prices. What forms of payment do you take? I take all major credit cards, checks and cash. Do you groom large dogs? I can groom all breeds and sizes! Do you groom sedated pets? For your pet's safety, I do not groom any pet who has been given medication to alter their behavior. While being sedated they could have reactions. It is best for them to be groomed at a vet's office. Can I bathe my pet before you arrive to lower the price? Let me do the work for you! I am providing you a full-service package. Everything is included in the price so there is no discount for your pet already being bathed. Do you groom aggressive dogs? If your pet has a history of being aggressive towards humans for any reason please let me know. There are some things we may be able to work around and other things may be best for a vet to get done safely. What if my pet is injured? Your pet's safety is my first priority, I take every precaution to avoid any injury. However, I am working with sharp tools and a moving animal. If an accident does occur it is usually a minor cut, but if any injury requires vet attention I will notify you so we can get to the vet as soon as possible. What is your cancellation policy? You will not be charged if you cancel at least 48hrs before your appointment starts. Otherwise, you will be charged 50% of the service price for late cancellations and 100% for cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment. |
